We're pleased to offer the BECHDEL BOOST - a dramaturgical program for writers interested in personalized, Bechdel Group specific feedback on their script.
We offer two levels of Boosts:
Level One: $80
Your submission fee plus a Boost covering (up to) the first 60 pages (scripts) or short narrative/pilot up to an hour (screenplays)
Level Two: $100
Your submission fee plus a Boost overing (up to) the first 100 pages (scripts) or full feature (screenplays)
Where does this money go?
One quarter of your fee goes to company expenses (printing, website fees, staged readings, etc.)
Three quarters of your fee goes directly to the dramaturg.
What kind of feedback will I get?
Your feedback will usually include:
We aim to consolidate our comments to 1 1/2 - 2 pages.
Selecting a Boost (or not) has no impact on the workshop inclusion decision.
Feedback will be sent after the close of the submission process. We aim to do so within the month post submissions closing.
We value your work and do not want anyone to get a less than thorough reading. If we find ourselves at our dramaturgs' capacity, we reserve the right to close the Boost option for the remainder of the submission window. (We will not, of course, do so retroactively.)
